Secretary ANECAA report on the Activities of the Anecaa Hyderabad for the year 2014-15.
Dear Friends,
I am herewith presenting the Report on the Activities of Anecaa Hyderabad for the Year 2014-15.
During this period i.e.,2014-15 the activities of Anecaa Hyderabad made good progress on the following fronts mainly due to the combined efforts of the Managing Committee members and encouragement and guidance of all members of Anecaa.I thank all the members for the same.I mention here the details of achievements for your information.
The Committee met 6 times during the year 2014-15 and deliberated on various issues and released minutes which are uploaded in website.
Membership Growth: There is a marked improvement in the Membership drive and as result the present total Members enrolled stood at about 700.Out of this Life Members are 400 and other Members are 300.All the committee Members are persuing the annual members get converted to Life Member.The efforts put in by Mr.Sankarareddy and Mr.Vijayachandrarao to achieve more no. of Life Members are appreciated by all the Committee Members.
Get-Togethers: This year on 18th Jan there was a family Get-together conducted in the Auditorium of TS Genco HYD.During the meet cultural celebrations like classical dances,mimicry by professionals and games like Tambola were conducted.Members enjoyed all the programmes and also the Lunch served.
Merit Awards: During the meet on 18-01-2015 Merit Awards were presented to 6 toppers from CEA in 6 Branches of Engineering.In all 5 Girl students and one Boy student were given the Awards consisting of onein Silver plaque and Certificate.
Website: Anecaa website is further improved into more faculty and friendly access.
Felicitations: As part of honouring the talented Engineers of Anrcaa Dr.Sateeshreddy of 1985 batch from CEA was felicitated.He was the Director of RCI Hyd.All his batch mates also attended in large number on that occasion and greeted him.All the Members felt elated as Mr.Sateeshreddy belongs to CEA.
Social Services: In order to take part in the social activities all the Members of Anecaa were requested to donate the the clothes and other useful material to the needy and poor thro an NGO who had come forward to receive the same.Accordingly the clothes and other material were handed over to th NGO to distribute among the poor.
