1. All the mebmers of the managemenet committee present were seated on the dais. Mr K.A. Ramayya, President, adjourned the meeting as the number of the members present was not meeting the requirement of the quorum. The meeting was reconvened after 30 minutes. Seventy members attended the meeting ( the list is kept with secretary).
2. The president proposed a condolence resolution in memory of Late Mr P. V. Subba Rao, who passed away along with his wife in a car accident at Kurnool in March 2014. One minute of silence was observed praying God for the souls to rest in peace.
3. The president in his opening remarks broadly briefed the members on the various activities of Anecaa,Hyderabad during the year 2013-14. The president expressed happiness as far as the growth of the membership of Anecaa is concerned. He also reiterated the need for enrolment of members from the recent batches. The need for new members is essential for ensuring continuity of leadership in the coming years. The president mentioned the facilities available on the website and the facility of advertisement for members of Anecaa. The president mentioned that the activity of merit scholarship has been implemented for the last four years. President mentioned the need for a building for Anecaa and appealed for contributions to realise the objective. Before closing he remarks the president mentioned that the election will be held after the conclusion of AGM for electing the members of the management committee for the period 2014-16. He appealed to the members of the recent batches to become part of the management.
4 .The secretary, Mr.Indrasn Reddy, read out the report of the activities of Anecaa Hyderabd for the year 2013-14 for the information of all the members.
5 . Mr Vijayachadra Rao, Treasurer presented the audited annual accounts for the year 2013-14, which were then circulated to the members. Members were requested to go through the report and to seek clarifications, if needed. After discussions, general body approved the accounts. The approval was proposed by Col S Rangaiah and seconded by Mr Sankara Reddy. ( Audited annual accounts are uploaded on our website anecaa.org) .
6 .Mr.S. S.Ramachandra Murthy, Chairman of Building Fund briefed the members regarding the status of collection of building fund and appealed to all the members to contribute generously so that dream of a permanent office for Anecaa, Hyderabad will be realised in a period of one year. He further assured the general body that all out efforts will be made to approach potential donors to collect building fund. There were spontaneous responses from members and a sum of Rs 21,000 was collected on the spot towards the building fund.
7. The president presented a proposal to offer free life membership to the toppers of our alma mater in addition to the plaque, certificate etc, which are already being offered every year. After discussion, general body approved the proposal to offer free life membership .One of the members suggested to collect life membership subscription from those merit awardees who are willing to pay the same voluntarily.
8 .Mr. Masthanaiah of 1965 batch suggested that members of the management committee should address the final year students at The JNTU College of Engineering, Anantapur briefing them about the activities of Aneeca and to request them to become members after finishing their studies. It was decided to implement the proposal of Mr Masthanaiah.
9 .The Presidnet thanked all the management committee members by name for their contribution and support for the activities of Anecaa during the year. The president thanked all the members for attending the meeting and for their participation in the annual general meeting.
10. The president requested Mr K. V. Rangaiah to start the activity related to the conduct of election of members of the management committee.
11.Any other document or record copy can be had from our secretary if any member wants them.

Note: The election process was completed by Mr K. V. Rangaiah, returning officer and he declared the list of fifteen elected members and the list is posted on the website of Anecaa,Hyderabad. He papers related to the elections were handed over to the secretary. The president, K A Ramayya thanked the returning officer, Mr K V Rangaiah on behalf of the outgoing management committee for conducting the elections smoothly and systematically.
